DocSmith is a small company. It's actually just me and what little spare time I have to spend in my shop. So buying one of my knives will rarely be as easy as adding a knife to a basket. Chances are, I don't have a knife that's available at the moment.

Since I make a limited number of knives, I have amazing freedom to work closely with my clients, and you have a unique opportunity to be involved in every step of your knife being made - if you like that kind of stuff.

You can visit my workshop to see the craftsmanship in situ (actually, a total chaos) behind my high-end kitchen knives. I do love it when people drop by so we can talk knives or they can see me work. But please, remember to check beforehand since I am not always in my shop, so call or msg ahead.
